Pointe Blanche is located at the Southeastern tip of Sint Maarten next to Philipsburg/Great Bay. There is a tiny beach there, and some Pointe Blanche residents go there for a walk, for collecting shells or for surfing. From the top of the hill, you have fabulous views of the cruise ships coming into Great Bay, and leaving the pier.
From the hilltop at Pointe Blanche, there are spectacular views of Great Bay, and to neighboring islands, such as St. Barths.

On your way to Pointe Blanche (on one of the best asphalted roads of the island) you may want to make a stop off at the Philipsburg Liquor Store. Not only because of its large selection of wine & spirits, but because it is one of the most beautifully restored, colorful old gingerbread houses on the island, see our Shopping section or Island Tour.
